Lebanese Prime Minister: Iran Is Using Hezbollah to Control LebanonTerrorism 13 November 2017 Iran Focus London, 13 Nov - The Iranian Regime is using its terrorist proxy Hezbollah to control Lebanon through destabilisation, according to the recently resigned prime minister, Saad Hariri. In an emotional TV interview on Sunday night, Hariri said : “I am not against Hezbollah as a political party but it should not be the cause of the destruction of Lebanon.” He resigned on November 4, in a live conference from Riyadh, because of Iran’s malign influence in Lebanon, stating that he feared that he would be assassinated by Iran and Hezbollah, as his father, Rafiq Hariri, was in 2005. During the interview, Hariri said that he may withdraw his resignation in Hezbollah agreed to abide by Lebanon’s policy of staying out of regional conflicts. He hoped this would act as a wake-up call for Lebanon about the grave danger it faces from Iran.
IRAN & NEIGHBOURS Tackling Iran Is VitalIran and Its Neighbours 13 November 2017 Iran Focus London, 13 Nov - The malign actions of the Iranian Regime deserve to be scrutinised by the international community and punished accordingly. In the past two months alone, the Iranian Regime has: • Plotted the assassination of Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, and forced him to leave office through their Hezbollah proxy. • Provided weapons to their Houthi proxies in Yemen to fire on Saudi Arabia • Supplied anti-ship rockets to threaten shipping lanes in the Bab el-Mandeb straits • Forced US-allied Kurds out of their lands in Northern Iraq using the Popular Mobilization Units A more overarching show of using proxies to destroy the Middle East can be seen in Syria, where Iran has been propping up the Assad dictatorship for years and are trying to fill the vacuum left by ISIS. Iran will soon control all of Syria if they are not stopped and then where will we be?

Terror designation for Iran’s Revolutionary Guards a necessary first step BY COL. (RET.) TOM CANTWELL, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR — 10/26/17 12:03 PM EDT 95 THE VIEWS EXPRESSED BY CONTRIBUTORS ARE THEIR OWN AND NOT THE VIEW OF THE HILL 28 © Getty After this week, the Trump administration will not only be leading the United States down a different path with respect to the Iran nuclear deal; it will also be employing a revised strategy on the Islamic Republic as a whole. On Oct. 13, President Trump announced the results of a comprehensive policy review, resulting in, among other items, a terrorist designation for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which he accurately described as “the Iranian Supreme Leader’s corrupt personal terror force and militia.”By means of its extra-territorial special operations Quds Force, the IRGC provides logistical and financial support, as well as arms and training to a variety of regional proxies and terrorist groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, the Ho...
Why Did Obama Hide Documents That Link Iran With Terror Group?Terrorism 11 November 2017 Iran Focus London, 11 Nov - A large number of documents that were seized during the raid on Abbottabad in Pakistan that killed Osama bin Laden were recently made public. The documents which included photos and computer files show that there are undeniable links between Iran and the terrorist al-Qaeda group. Many have speculated as to the reasons why former President Barack Obama did not make the documents public, but it is very clear for all to see that releasing them would have ensured that the 2015 Iran nuclear deal would not have been finalised. The documents also link Iran with Qatar and is another reason as to why the former President did not want the documents made public. The President of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies Clifford May commented on this in an article that was published on Wednesday this week in The Washington Times. He said that senior experts at the foundation wante...
Iran's Malign Influence in Lebanon11 November 2017 Iran Focus London, 11 Nov - The shock announcement of Lebanese prime Minister Saad Hariri’s resignation is making many wonder what the reasons were behind his decision. There are many political reasons such as the influence of Hezbollah which is in control of around a quarter of the Lebanese territory and is more powerful than the country’s army. Iran is the one behind Hezbollah and Syria’s interference in Lebanese politics, and it is certain that this was at least part of the reason why Hariri resigned. He left the country before announcing his intentions – no surprise, given that Hezbollah is known to assassinate those that speak out against it. Hezbollah’s control over parts of Lebanon has allowed it to introduce social programs that have resulted in considerable support from the Shia population. The social program collects taxes so that hospitals, social centres, schools, etc. can be built.
A REASONABLE APPROACH TO THE IRAN DEAL Created: 05 October 2017 Iran NCRI United States Yemen Iraq Syria IRGC BY: Jennifer Rubin Secretary of State John Kerry, left, shakes hands with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif last year at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Oslo. (State Department/European Pressphoto Agency)I vigorously opposed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) because I believed then — as I believe now — that the Obama administration, in its desperation for a legacy-creating deal, negotiated a weaker deal than we could have obtained. The JCPOA did not deliver anywhere/anytime inspections as promised or constrain Iran’s ballistic missile program. The JCPOA provided sanctions relief up-front and contains a highly troubling sunset clause. Nevertheless, the agreement is in place now, and the question is whether to stay in or exit. Circumstances have undeniably changed, both because of the new president and the operation of the deal itself. Here I part company with...
