Municipality Workers Protest In Eshtehard, Iran Against Expulsion

On Friday, June 22, 2018, after the expulsion of 80 municipality workers in Eshtehard, located in the province of Alborz, workers of the municipality protested against these expulsions in a gathering in front of the city’s Governorate.

According to a report from inside Iran, dozens of dismissed workers from the Eshtehard Municipality gathered in the city’s governorate to demand the return to work.

Workers from the Eshtehard municipality, located in the Alborz province of Iran, regarding their gatherings, said that recently 80 of them have been fired the municipality under false pretexts and their efforts to return to work have been futile. The protesting workers called for the return to their work by chanting slogans and holding up the placards.
