For the past four decades, the Iranian regime had tried to deprived people of the access to the news and a horrible suppression has been applied to the media. Except the religious fundamentalism thought behind this blatant violation of the basic rights of access to the information, the main goal should be considered from a security aspect.

Due to the certain contradiction of the backward system of the Velayat-e faqih with scientific and social progress, from the very beginning of the founding of this regime, the main feature of the regime was a blatant hostility towards the media and the free spread of information.

Just after a short time of the anti-monarchy revolution of the Iranian people for freedom and justice, Khomeini, who could not bear the critics against its new dictatorship style of ruling the society and to nip the demands of the people for a better social and economic conditions in the bud, issued a decree of breaking the pens. The distinguishing characteristic between the clerical dictatorship and the other known dictatorial regimes is that in the religious dictatorship ruling Iran, censorship and applying suppression is not restricted to the social and political affairs in the society but spread to every corner of private lives of the citizens. The meaning of privacy is not recognized in this regime.

The children were deceived and were asked questions about their families by the Intelligence elements of the regime at schools. The goal was to gain information if the parents are pro-regime or not. The questions could be what they eat or drink at home, and if they pray or not, whether they speak about the government or officials and so on. The results could affect the issues of employment, dismissing of the jobs, and even imprisonment.

There are certain codes for what the people eat, drink, wear and even how the women can smile or not behind the windows of their own houses if they could be seen by someone from outside.

The flow of information should be controlled by the government so the hi-tech devices are not allowed for ordinary people. Many international bodies, for the defense of human rights, were shocked by the photos of crushing satellite dishes in Iran by armored vehicles. The recent act was carried out under the bogus pretext of morality topics, while the involvement of the regime officials, including the IRGC, in beneficial human traffic for sexual exploitation is well-known.

The advancement of communication devices over the past two decades is a double-edged sword for the Iranian regime. The regime needs the new cyber tech to fulfill its security and surveillance plans, at home or even destructive external activities, on the other hand, the cyberspace is a proper ground for Iranian people to exchange the information. The recent feature of cyberspace becomes more crucial while the protests occur in Iran. Protesters have proved their competency in using the cyber-techs in organizing the protests and reporting the news, whilst the suppressive regime prefers to chock all the outcries in silence.

That is the reason clarifies the Iranian regime’s eager to creating an immense cyber army for surveillance, espionage, and cyber-attacks to the rival aims. Unfortunately, the mullahs regime’s Web spying has been facilitated by the Western technology under the shadow of the appeasement policy. The ruling regime in Iran has established, with the aid of European telecommunications firms, one of the world's most suppressive apparatus for controlling and censoring the online activities, allowing it to scan the content of individual online communications on a massive scale. Many people have been incarcerated, tortured and even killed on the charge of their online activities, which makes the companies and officials involved in providing such devices and technologies for the dictatorial cleric regime bear the responsibility of complicity in crimes.

Recently Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Director of the Washington office of the dissident National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), unveiled the new facet of the plan of the Iranian regime for devising phone apps for ‘mass surveillance’ of dissidents, which can affect a large circle of people out of Iran too. The exposing drew the attention on the sinister activities of the regime again. It also highlighted the necessity of conditioning all the political and trade relation to improving the human rights situation in Iran and impelling the Iranian regime to comply the basic rights of the people for freedom.

Iran-Back Hezbollah Controls LebanonTerrorism

Iran-Back Hezbollah Controls LebanonTerrorism 21 February 2018 Iran Focus London, 21 Feb - In recent years, when the US has made statements against Iran-backed Hezbollah, they have often followed this up with support for the Lebanese army and security forces, but it is becoming increasingly clear that there is little, if any, distinction between the Lebanese state and the Iran-backed terrorist group. When US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrived in Beirut, last Thursday, Hezbollah had created two new problems with Israel: a southern border wall and the debates over oil and gas extraction. This caused Tillerson to make the US position on Hezbollah very clear. Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation with no difference between its military and political wings. He advised that Hezbollah and Iran were creating tensions in the region in order to destabilise the Middle East. Iran seeks the destruction to distract others from its own problems, both domestic and international. It not only ta...
