Trump Warns This Might Be Final Iran Deal Waiver, President Trump renewed the Iran nuclear deal, but said that this will be the last time. The deal, which must be renewed every 120 days,
waives key sanctions the US lifted as part of the deal.
However, the renewal places 14 new sanctions on people and entities for alleged offenses unrelated to Iran’s nuclear industry. Senior administration officials said Trump will pressure European partners to agree to impose new conditions on Iranian behavior. The deal was originally brokered in 2015 between five other world powers to curb Iran's nuclear aspiration.
